Our science curriculum is designed to encourage inquiry-based learning through experimentation, research, and data analysis. In each unit of study, students have access to digital lessons, virtual labs, leveled readers, and video projects. Digital lessons provide an interactive experience for students using personal laptop devices, ipads/tablets, and classroom Promethean boards. During hands-on activities, students follow the steps of the scientific method to formulate and communicate answers to scientific questions. In the classroom, we discuss how to create a testable hypothesis, identify experimental variables, design a controlled experiment, collect data, and analyze results. The science curriculum is organized into three separate sections:
Physical Science
Earth Science
Life Science
