I am so Excited to be part of The Galloway School family, as your Kindergarten teacher. I believe this is where God wanted me to be and I could not be happier. I was in Corporate America from 1998-2014. I decided in 2014 that there was something missing in my life. It was a void I needed to fill. From the time I was in second grade, my dream had been to be an elementary teacher. I had a teacher who made a huge impression on my life and to this day, her and I are still friends. I always wanted to be that teacher to someone. I went back to school in July of 2014 and started my journey to becoming a teacher. I was finally following my Dreams. I went to school at the University of Houston Clear Lake and graduated in December 2018 with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree and went through Texas Teachers Certification program. For the past year and half, I was the ABLE I teacher in Pasadena ISD, working with Autistic children in Middle School. Although, I loved my students, I realized Special Education was not the direction I wanted to go in. This opportunity was presented, and I accepted without hesitation. I am truly grateful and blessed. I have always had a passion about teaching young minds and now, I get to follow that dream. God had a greater plan for me, and I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
My husband is the love of my life. I met my him in 2014. I knew the minute I laid eyes on him; I would marry him one day. We were married in December of 2016. We have 2 daughters, Carli who is 21 and Cassidy who is 24. We have one grandson named Timmy who is 4 years old. We are waiting on the arrival of our newest granddaughter Vivian. We have two fur-babies Beaux & Bella. We are living our Best Life.
My hobbies include cooking together, traveling, and spending time with our family and friends. My husband and I love to cook together and try new recipes. We love to take spontaneous “Road Trips” and see places we have never been before. I look forward too many more Adventures and seeing where the road takes us. I also enjoy reading, working out, and creating new designs for t-shirts and jewelry.
