Good morning and happy Monday! Despite our dreary weather, we have some very exciting things coming this week to help keep our spirits up: 1. Our friends @waysidecoffeeco will be joining us this week on Tuesday and Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, so take the opportunity to grab one of their many delicious drinks. 2. Friday, January 26th, 2024 is our 100th day of school! We will use this day to celebrate an amazing 100 days at Galloway by wearing a highly decorated 100th day shirt and participating in a 100th day parade! This afternoon we had the pleasure of welcoming @dr_katie_alaniz into Galloway to talk with our teachers about how to intentionally integrate technology within the classroom to better aide students in becoming critical thinkers, collaborators, communicators and so much more. Good afternoon Galloway Community, as you may know, this weekend we are expecting freezing temperatures with possible precipitation which could potentially lead to icy conditions. As always, the safety of you, your children, and our staff are of the utmost importance to us. With that, we will be closely monitoring the weather throughout the weekend, holiday on Monday, and into Tuesday morning. Come Tuesday morning, by 6:00 am, our Admin team will reach out to the community to inform you of the decision to conduct school as normal or not. REMINDER: Monday is a school holiday, therefore, there will be no school for students regardless of the weather. Enjoy the weekend and stay warm!
