Here’s just a sneak peek into our technology class as Mr. Williamson works with our 5th graders on building an important skill for the future — typing! Students are practicing proper finger placement while working to improve their speed and accuracy on the keyboard. Developing strong typing skills now helps set our students up for success in middle school and beyond, and Mr. Williamson keeps the class engaging and fun. Our 3rd–5th-grade students recently took learning to new heights with an incredible Virtual Reality field trip to the International Space Station! Using VR technology, students experienced what it’s like to orbit Earth, explore the inside of the ISS, and see how astronauts live and work in space. From floating through modules to observing our planet from above, this immersive experience brought science and space exploration to life in an unforgettable way. Our students had a boot-scootin’ good time at our Texas-themed Spirit Rally led by the one and only Coach T! 🐴🌟 From high-energy games to lots of Texas pride, the gym was filled with cheers, laughter, and plenty of Lone Star spirit!
