Bay Area Dental Specialists joined our PS-Kindergarten students for a fun and educational visit focused on the importance of healthy brushing habits! 🪥🦷✨ Our little Owls learned how to brush their teeth properly, why taking care of their smiles is so important, and how good dental habits start at an early age! A big thank-you to Bay Area Dental Specialists for helping our students learn how to keep their smiles happy, healthy, and bright! 🦉

💻🛠️ Happy National IT Professionals Day! Today, we’re celebrating someone who helps keep The Galloway School connected, supported, and running smoothly — Mr. Williamson! 🦉 From solving tech challenges to making sure our classrooms, staff, and students have the support they need, we appreciate everything you do for our Galloway community. Help us show Mr. Williamson some love and appreciation today! 👏💙

Our 2nd graders are getting hands-on in the STEM Lab as they explore different tools, test out new ideas, and build their problem-solving skills! From experimenting with how tools work to collaborating with classmates, they’re learning through curiosity, creativity, and a whole lot of fun. 🛠️💡
The fun doesn’t stop when the school day ends! Our After-School Clubs are kicking off this week, allowing our students to explore new interests, learn new skills, make friends, and—most importantly—have FUN! 🦉💙

Today, our Galloway community pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the heroes who stepped forward to serve and protect others. Our students, faculty, and staff are wearing red, white, and blue today as we remember those we lost and recognize the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed. We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

We can’t wait to welcome our grandparents and special guests to The Galloway School! Doors will open at 7:45 AM, with a special program beginning at 8:00 AM featuring some of our 4th- and 5th-grade students.

Our 3rd–5th grade students took the spotlight today as they shared their ideas, goals, and reasons for wanting to serve on Student Council! We are so proud of each student who stood in front of their peers, spoke with confidence, and shared their vision for making Galloway an even better place. 💙

Our preschoolers had so much fun learning all about the letter A for apple! Along the way, they were also busy strengthening their fine motor skills, counting, sorting, building, and teamwork. 🧩🔢🍏
Our kindergarteners jumped right into building, creating, and problem-solving as they explored the basics of engineering through LEGO! From following directions to using their creativity, students are already learning that there’s more than one way to build something amazing. 🤖🧩

Our 4th graders started their science lab inside, testing how the volume of water affects a flipper’s ability to land a successful flip. But as the experiments continued, things got a little messy—so we took the learning outside! 😂🌊 Our students had a blast testing variables, making observations, collecting data, and learning that sometimes the best science experiments don’t go exactly as planned!

Our 2nd graders are making phonics fun by playing hands-on games together! 💙🦉
