Why Galloway, you ask? Our school embraces a people-first environment, which is deeply rewarding as it places the well-being and growth of each student at the heart of every interaction. Guided by the wisdom of Phil Boyte from Learning for Living, we create a culture where teachers and students feel seen, heard, and valued, empowering them to take ownership of their learning journey. Phil’s mentorship inspires us to build authentic relationships, foster a community, and pursue continuous personal development. #tinymoments #peoplefirst #whygalloway

1st grade took advantage of the beautiful weather this week! They went outside to identify elements that make up soil. Students used their observation skills to draw or do "rubbings" to identify things that will decompose to make soil! #tgs2425 #whygalloway

Mrs. Torres and Mrs. Flanagan kicked off our chapel for gentleness by doing an object lesson with a balloon and skewer to demonstrate the effects of showing gentleness in our lives! Great lesson for all! #tgs2425 #whygalloway

Today, our PK4 classes had a blast exploring the wonderful world of flowers! Their flower investigation and dissection lab was full of excitement as they examined a flower's different parts. From the stems and leaves to the colorful petals, they carefully cut open each part to see what’s inside. The kids loved discovering the tiny details and learning how flowers grow and work. It was a fun, hands-on way to explore nature up close! 🌿🌼 #tgs2425 #whygalloway

Mrs. Torres's class observed their new classroom caterpillars! They can't wait to see them form their chrysalises soon! #tgs2425 #whygalloway
